Has 3 older sisters: 2 live in Tulsa and 1 in Sedona, AZ
Married to Marlene Odom – 7-14-07
Two grown children – Chris who lives in Conway, Arkansas and Becky Smith who lives in Muskogee with her husband Robert. They have 2 kids: Caleb – age 5 and Addison – age 2
Two step children – Megan McCarter who lives in San Antonio, TX, and Rachel McCarter who lives in Muskogee with her son Ares – age
Lifetime member of Grace Church.
Attended Muskogee Public Schools, Oklahoma State University, Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Served in US Army as a Captain for 2 years.
Returned to Muskogee and started my Optometry practice in 1971. Combined my practice with Dr. Jerry Coburn, Kathy Coburn’s husband, in 1984.
Have served the church as Warden and Vestry Person many times over the years. Been Acolyte Director for past 17 years or so. Currently Treasurer and chairman of the Finance Committee.
Interests are crappie fishing, yard work, and attending OSU football games.
